The Wild West. A land where men tame nature and look darn sexy doing it!
Who doesn’t admire a rugged man in tight jeans with a thick belt, high shafted boots and a wide hat to frame a strong jawed face? And if he’s wearing leather chaps and a fitted leather waistcoat over a ripped shirt that exposes just enough chest - well, we’d certainly hitch a ride on his wagon!
Leather Wild West is LeatherWest’s summer event that encourages all guys to saddle up in their leather chaps, jeans and waistcoats to enjoy the summer, maybe a bbq and a bit of rodeo action! It’s also our annual fundraiser for a nominated charity. We encourage guys to dig deep and mine their pockets for whatever they can donate.
We have chosen the Wild West as our theme for this leather party because, let’s be honest, wearing leather on warm days isn’t fun! Those cowboys of old knew a thing or two about keeping cool out there on the range, so we want guys to be comfortable, while giving them a chance to wear their leather.
The ‘Cowboy Look’ is very much in at the moment. Just take a look at the current trend for fitted check shirts, big belt buckles and heeled boots. It’s hot! We reckon guys need a sexy belt with suitable buckle, solid boots and of course a hat . Mix this up with a leather waistcoat, jeans, chaps and you’ll look every inch a ranch hand stud!
