Bristol is “the West’s Capital” for Leathermen

Further evidence of the emergence and growth of Bristol as a centre for leathermen came this week with the news that BLUF has recognised the “the West’s Capital” as a ‘BLUF City’.

Bristol: growing ‘leather destination’.

Bristol has been included as a “hub of interest” by BLUF (the famed club for Breeches, Leather and Uniforms) as it launched its BLUF Local service. Bristol is now listed alongside such famed leather destinations as Amsterdam, London, Chicago and ‘SoCal’ (Los Angeles -San Diego-Palm Springs) and San Francisco. BLUF local only recognises areas where there is a significant amount of BLUF activity each year. So Bristol is in good company and in a select group of just six cities in the world.

BLUF Local is a new addition to BLUF that makes it easier to find local BLUF groups and keep in touch with them. BLUF local is also open to members and non-members as a source for information of the local BLUF Bristol group as well as other local events and news in the region. Sign-up here.

Bristol Uniform (Mrk) of BLUF Bristol said, ” It’s great news to see Bristol recognised in this way. Bristol is attracting more and more leather clad visitors to events in the city. With our next event just a few weeks away, this is a real shot in the arm. I guess we’ll just have to ensure we celebrate it in the usual BLUF way!”

Luckily LeatherWest will be at the BLUF Bristol’s meet on March 29th to witness the BLUF way of celebrating (wink, wink).
