An action packed blockbuster, regularly featuring on Leathermen’s favourite film lists, is set to return to Bristol for a special screening with specially brought-in warm-up DJs, presenting a one-off social opportunity for leathermen with a twist.

This coming Friday at Bristol’s Watershed on the harbourside (venue of the Leather film screening during Bristol Pride Week), director James Cameron’s hard-edge rollercoaster action blockbuster, Terminator 2: Judgement Day is riven with homoerotic images of a goodie-Cyborg (Arnold ‘Arnie’ Schwarzenegger) as a tightly clad leather biker against a fit-buff LA Cop biker baddie cyborg (Robert Patrick): leather biker v biker cop!

Before the film screening, in the Café-Bar, film goers will be treated to a live DJ set from Bristol-based electro-acoustic Bronnt Industries Kapital.

So, a night out with a leather opportunity. Great music by DJs, a few drinks and a film full of horny masculine images and leather and unifomrs richly represented. There’s an idea about town about leathering up in the style of the biker cyborg, and pay homage to “I’ll be back” Arnie.

Yes, certainly, a leather night out with a difference, following the success of the leather film night during Bristol Pride Week, the Watershed would be keen to see leathermen in evidence. This is Bristol, we do things a differently here.
